Emerging Alternative South London-based singer-songwriter B-ahwe self-releases her first solo track of the year ‘Ride 2 Nowhere’. Produced by close friend and collaborator, TAMBALA, the dreamlike beat develops into an infectious sonic that beautifully complements B-ahwe's tones. Co-created whilst travelling in Vietnam, the pair successfully channel themes of liberation, escapism and empowerment.
Marking her first release of 2023, ‘Ride 2 Nowhere’ sets a precedent for what to expect in the coming months. Accompanied by a bold video directed by Seb Luke Virgo combining visual disciplines spanning painting, animation and cinematography, the track is an introduction to a whole new B-ahwe world. Having constantly and consistently worked at honing her craft, she’s sitting on an abundance of music which she is excited to share.
